Beijing Olympic

Beijing Olympic, a hot topic that will keep on burining for the next 2 weeks. Thanks to my sister's recording of the opening ceremony, I'm still able to watch one of the world's event that we all shouldn't miss!

Honestly, after watching the opening ceremony, I feel so proud of China for able to host such a great event! I'm sure many had given comment about the opening ceremony, but there is only one for myself: The dragon has awaken! From what I read, the fireworks used during the opening ceremony is 4 times of the total sum of the fireworks used in the previous 28 Olympic game hosted! It even went into Guinness World Record!

Here's a video I'd like to share with you all, I'm sure plenty had watched it, but it never fails to make my blood boil no matter how many times I watch it!

Well then I wonder now, until when can we, Malaysia actually host something like this, 2020? There is a long way to go but I do hope that there is one day like this. Many thanks to Mr. Azrin for pointing out the mistakes I made in the post. Though your words are sharp as always (I'm honest), but you had indeed show me a bigger world out there. Thank you.

well malaysia can never host this kind of event. the ppl here are still struggling and complaining what is right to wear and what to wear not to portray any ethnicity.
wearing baju melayu wont make you less chinese, less indian or more malay. but it definitely make you more MALAYSIAN.
i wonder shouldnt we abolish Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan??? it is so showing Malaysia's "Multi-ethinics Culture" isnt it?
we will never progress having a person like you. why dont we sit and have an intellectual argument. bring your friends of your race along.
Malaysian Malaysia?? nah, in my dream!

-another disspointment-

What could I say, Mr.Azrin you are indeed the first person who can give me such comment when I gave out these words and pointed out where's the mistake I made.

Normally I could only get 2 type of reply:
- "yeah man! thats rite!! to hell with *whatever you can imagine here*"
or
- "balik cina lah cina b*bi!"

I apologize for my childish act. Hope Mr.Azrin you can post more comment in the future. Thank you.

well in this blog, just call me azrin, that would be less formal.

i never agreed with that term B*bi to describe my fellow chinese. i will curse anyone regardless of his race and his rank if any of them giving this remark.

i have been working hard to unite the students despite the disparities we have. you dont have to remove the entry you have written. it is against the ethics of publication. i know, many chinese arent satisfied with the condition. the most important thing is we have to find solution rather than pointing whose mistakes and belong to whom.

you are, in my view, a matured student. we dont have to downgrade another race just to show how great we are. the malays need the chinese and the indians.losing one component of the race i will assure you we are heading to 'the crippled malaysia'. are you ready for that?

P/S: the accidentally deleted the earlier comment. i am sorry.

Look at our newly elected Selangor,Perak,Penang state government, they do wear Songkok when they sworn in, and i do not see any problems.

Why do we have to haggle over every ounce, please recall back things we learned in SKP2204,Ethnicity the terms of Assimilation.

Cheers,
Candle

Sir: I've shared something in your blog, sorry for being unable to wait till I finished my mrcrop... And thank you for all the things you thought us, I'll greatly appreciate it.

Mai: Bout SKP2204, there's still a big gap between theory and reality, when the country are in such chaotic state *read the papers* I do hope that things could get better in the short while, with all the corrupted politician knowing what's the right thing to do
