Dinner of the day II

Had some out-of-ordinary dinner in Mid Valley the Gardens. In a hotel that looks like restaurant In a restaurant that looks like hotel.

Went "whooo" and "woaaah" when the restaurant actually offer us a private room, carpet on the floor, chandelier on the roof, and no extra charges! What else could be expecting?

This restaurant have very interesting plates and bowl, look at their shapes, look closely.

Grill duck, the best duck I've ever eat, the meat is so soft that they said people without teeth could chew it easilly, and I'm so agree with that. Not only the meat is soft, it is also juicy and the skin is crunchy!

Aw, should took some video instead of photo.

Grill chicken, though me personally thinks that the duck is still better, but the chicken ain't that bad either, the chili for the chicken is really good!

Ordered 3 bowl of dumplings (云吞), the taste reminds me of the China maid that used to work in my house (taking care of grandma) and she makes really good dumplings! Haven't taste any such dumplings since she went back to China.

Well then, some vegetable, taufu, and mee. Balance up the food pyramid lol, else we'll be having too much of meat.

A big big thank you, many many terima kasih, loud loud arigato, and very very 谢谢 to AhPak (my uncle) for treating the meal!

Life of a university student - Part VII

Semester 4 officially ended, along with my life staying in the hostel.

Well, I do agree that staying in hostel is indeed convenient as the engineering faculty is just over the bridge. But staying in hostel also means that you'll be facing all the star sun moon monkey banana cat dog KFC McDonald stuffs, which in my opinion, not worthing.

Anyway, the end of the hostel life also means the beginning of another problem, where the heck I'll be staying next semester?

Headache!

Yes, I can continue my sweet date with my imaginary girlfriend in my imaginary world without realizing the reality in the early morning.

The study table, dining table, gaming table, book rack, and sleeping table. All-in-one, not even Ikea could give a better deal.

The door and windows, just for memory saving. I've faced them around 2 years after all, they are all the same no matter which floor and which room, except the ground floor.

Thinking back of the exams are nothing but a series of nightmares, struggling with a bunch of strangers that you have no choice but to understand them.

Well then, thank god that the nightmares are over now, time to enjoy a cup of Starbucks coffee promised from sister after finishing my finals. Thanks a lot ah sis!

Never judge a book by its cover

I'm sure that I'm not the first person talking about her.

Susan Boyle, the first impression she's giving you is the "why the heck is this aunty doing on the stage?" feeling. But the moment she open her mouth and sing, the judges had their jaw dropped to the ground, some ladies even dropping their tears.

Well, I guess I dropped both, it reminds me of the saying "God is fair to everyone", she might not have an attractive outlook, but her voice is like an angel, and listening her song brings you to heaven.

Eyes are very deceiving, never judge a person by first impression!

P/S: Screw YouTube for blocking every single embedding about her -_-

When your friend is hospitalized

This is my personal experience after coming out from the hospital, hope will help you in any visiting situation!
  1. DO NOT greed the patient with "you haven't die ah?" - Unless you are asking for trouble.
  2. TRY NOT to call the person for the good old "how are you?" question - Being sick simply make a person less chatty, you could try asking the person around the patient for the latest condition, that would be a wise choice.
  3. TRY NOT to call the person for another good old "hope you get well soon!" wishes. - Again, a sick person need lots of rest instead of answering "I'm fine now", "recovering, thanks", etc. If you are trying to show your concern, you could try to SMS the person though, no harm in that way.
  4. DO visit the person, you don't really have to chat all the way during the visit, just being with the person is far greater than thousand words.
Well, roughly that's it. Now some of you might understand why me ain't answering your phone calls. I was either sleeping or had already answered 4-5 calls that asking the same good old question.

Yes, yes, I know people are just showing their concern and stuffs like that, but think of a person who is already damn sick, give the person some rest larh. You could always ask his/her sibling or parents, don't ask the poor thing directly larh, he already have an army of bacteria to handle with!

Hospitalized

A new experience that I seriously don't really want to have.

Location: Assunta Hospital
Sickness: Love sick Suspect Dengue
Syndrome: High fever for few consecutive days
Cure: Sleep in hospital

Left: In case you don't know, the thing that poked into my vein for injecting salt water into my body is around 5cm long! Scream like having your butt bite by a dragon when they putting that thing in.
Right: Hospital food, looks good but taste differently. I ordered porridge for the rest of the day in the hospital after having their rock-hard-rice.

The good thing about private hospital is that you have more nurse that speaks Chinese. Since I was so sick, therefore I don't really have the mood to disturb the nurse around, bah. Some of them are quite pretty, just some larh...

The first hamper in my life is actually from this kinda situation, not sure weather to feel happy or sad. Anyway, thanks ChaiGim, ChungWang, and WengEe for this lovely gift!

Very sorry and many thanks for my mom, (even though she ain't going to see this) for making her worried for my situation, and taking care of me all the while. Also, the love and care from all the other family member, thank you very much!

Special Thanks:
UPM kawan: Eric, WenJian, and SiToh for flying all the way from Serdang to visit me.
SuFung: Know you very got heart larh, all the way from Subang, lol.
Couple Thean: Thanks for coming to cheering me up!

Currently still not feeling very well inside, but at least I feel that it is recovering though. Ciao~

P/S: I got lots of apples -_- someone help me finish some...

9 words used by ladies

Guys beware!

(1) Fine - This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

(2) Five Minutes - If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five minutes is only five minutes when you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

(3) Nothing - This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

(4) Go Ahead - This is a dare, not permission. Don't Do It!

(5) Loud Sigh - This is actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

(6) That's Okay - This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That's okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

(7) Thanks - A woman is thanking you, do not question, or faint. Just say you're welcome. (I want to add in a clause here - This is true, unless she says "Thanks a lot" - that is PURE sarcasm and she is not thanking you at all. DO NOT say "you're welcome", that will bring on a "whatever").

(8) Whatever - Is a woman's way of saying the F words.

(9) Don't worry about it, I got it - Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking "What's wrong?" For the woman's response refer to #3.

Hot Day

Before starting, the title of this blog post was actually "Bad Day", but got my mind changed after some thoughts. What thoughts? Well I'm not sure you are aware or not, but for a person who jumping around the blogsphere founds that people like to express about how bad they were experiencing, instead of how good they have been. Typical examples of these title: "Stress", "Bad day", "Another emo post", etc; instead of seeing these: "Lucky day", "Life was good", "I'm so happy", etc.

Ouch, guess that was too long for an opening.

Well, right from the morning when I woke up, I had already feeing the effects of lacking sleep (simply asking for trouble for going DotA knowing that there is an 8am class on the next day). Lack of sleep ain't that bad, what's bad is that the lecturer fly us a big kite in an 8am - 10am class! Waking up so early for no reason but to crap in class for 2 hour and wait for tutorial class at 10am. Please la April fool had passed already!

Then in the noon, for some really stupid reason (which I'm not going to say), I ended up walking under this hot sun for about half an hour. Walking under the hot sun is okay, I always did that, but the worst case is that I'm doing that for half hour when (for another really stupid reason) I actually don't really have to! Getting my whole body sweaty for no reason is plain dumpass.

Then after finishing the tutorials, time to go back home. Again I turned my dried body sweaty again for the rushing to hostel to take my laptop, crossing the 3 floor height bridge because the guard seal the hole below it.

Hello komuter, I love you as much as I love hamburger and canned sardine fish, it makes me feel like being your kind. The air con in the train are frigging strong, here I turn my sweaty body dried again.

Finally I've reached home! The first thing I go for is the water (my body is so lack of water at the moment), then the second place is the bath! But now felt like going to sick soon, been achoo-ing here and achoo-ing there. I want some movie! Had not been stepping into the cinema for so long!
