Outch...

What a foul mood for new year. Really hope that I will not bring it over to 2009.

For real.

Anyway, happy new year everyone!
May those who are studying get smarter;
May those who are working get richer;
May those who in relationship get closer;
May those who are single get partner;
May those who are sad get happier;
May those who happy laugh out louder;
May the girls get prettier;
May the guys get handsomer;
And finally, may everyone get healthier!

P/S: If you are a considerate reader, please do not ask what does the picture means. Let it over and done with. Thank you!

Steamboat and mabuk session

We love gathering, don't we?
We love party, don't we?
We love steamboat, don't we?
We love liquor, don't we?

Yes we do!

Thus the party had been thrown out for celebration of some random events: My cousin, Manfred's birthday, new year, Christmas, DongZhi... Name all the events larh, but we just wanted to throw out some party to get happy!

Meet the materials and the pot. I loved the FukZhou fish ball a hell lots, simply irresistible.

Meet the beefs from Australia. Fresh, juicy, and yummy!

Everyone, say cheese... Aiya, all too busy eating already...

Bacardi apple, taste a little like cough medicine, never drink without melting some ice in. It BURNS!

Meet the cake of all celebration - A person's birthday, Christmas, DongZhi, and new year.

Say hi to all the 30%++ liquor.

Before drunk still can take some good looking photo larh...

After drunk who's the husband also forget already...

---

Indeed everyone had lots of fun! For myself lerh, this is the first time I actually feel my head spinning after drinking, gosh!

New year mabuk again larh! Then we have more people including my sister coming back from Singapore! Bwahahaha...

Christmas Trees

Every year during Christmas, I just couldn't stop myself from collecting the beautiful Christmas trees from the malls. No exception for this year either.

Maybe it is due to the economic crisis going around, Christmas decoration this year seems to be more under budget, boo...

Anyway, let's begin with Sunway Pyramid, with the huge red tree that about to reach the roof. Unlike trees in any other mall, they did a pretty unique job for making the red tree!

Mid Valley Megamall, they are clearly cutting budget spent on the Christmas decorations. A big clown face in the center court, some hired joker for the stage, few big trees around, and that's it!

"Christmas Carnival" is the theme I heard, but they did a better job in last year's "Christmas In Faerie Land" theme.

This is Mid Valley the Gardens. I have no idea what the bid cage means in their theme, but they removed all the sofa around and replaced them with all the Christmas trees.

I'd prefer to have the sofa remained, lol.

Now now, for the champion of all, The Curve! Not only they have the normal trees, they have rotating Christmas tree, animal shaped plants, and even a pond!

It just feel so right here, the Christmas feel I mean. Words can't describe much, but "marvelous" should describe a little.

---

I missed KLCC, Pavilion, and 1Utama this year, but I heard that KLCC are still the same old big tall tree like every year, while 1Utama are using white tree this year, which is so-so compared to last year's drump playing doll in the center. Boo the economic crisis! (Picture stolen from TingWei's blog)

Have no idea what happened in Pavilion though.

---

Oh, meet some homemade Christmas tress too:

Left: Christmas tree of Thean's residance.
Right: Christmas tree in my sister's house, look at the presents!

---

Lastly, the poor me who don't have the real money to make all the beautiful Christmas trees, but I do have some virtual money though, meet my Christmas tree in pet society!

Merry Christmas! Hohoho...

A merry Christmas eve

Went to sister's house to celebrate Christmas eve as usual, with all the lovely food and present! I shall let the picture do the talking here, hahaha...

The main dish, the big chicken turkey. Well it does taste like chicken, just that when you dip it into some special turkey sauce then only you can have the real taste of it. Delicious as usual!

You know, there are time when you just wish that you are still small kids, especially during Christmas...

Sadly, some dream can never come true, but we can entrust it to the next generation! You do feel wonderful by looking at their smiling face :)

The present from me to my sister! The first and only Christmas present for her she said, but don't worry larh sis, next year I'll be giving again! Hohoho...

Oh yeah, the story behind all begins from a MSN message of "Very long no open Christmas present liao..." from my sister, lol!

My turn, Even I'm so old doesn't mean that I can't have present! I got myself a LionHeart necklace from my sister, along with a dragon head ring!

Always wanted this when I walked pass those cosplay shops, and my wallet never allows me to have one... Dream come true!

Here's another from my sis. This one is so 废 (fai) that I almost fainted! Alright, when I just opened it it looks exactly as the shown in the left picture.

I asked my sis: "Wow cool! Is this black chocolate?"

She didn't answer, only smile smile at me. I didn't open it when I noticed a chocolate inside the packets, after awhile my sis asked me to open it and it looks like the picture on the right.

My heart shouted: "Omg why the hell there's a bite at the chocolate?"

Then I look closer only I realize that... It is actually a NOTEBOOK! Even with the writing of the death god on it! But of course it's fake, just a mimic from the manga Death Note. I was like "Whattt theee helllll..."

Nice prank larh sister.

Oh, the clock just ticked pass 12am earlier, it is officially Christmas day now! Here I wish a merry Christmas to all my readers, may God bless us all in this merry moment!

Dinner and cinema of the day

I bet someone really going to scream all the "Kuraaaanggggg" and "Kanaaasaaaaiii" at me soon, but I cant help it, this is really worth blogging larh, lol.

Went to Mid Valley the Gardens to have my dinner again (as my cousin sister invited me for movie later). Actually we plan to have Sushi Zanmai there in the beginning, but we were reaching there LATE! Clashed with the dinner time of the working people, people queue up damn long, so we decided to have the meal at Gurney Drive instead.

I noticed something really funny about Gurney Drive, is that we can't seems to locate their main sign "Gurney Drive", where all we found is actually a big golden gate as shown on top. After that I went to ask Google about where is it located, then i found this. Omg it is actually located at the SIDE of the restaurant! None of us noticed it!

Is the satay! Taste just fine, not oily and no over burnt on it. Half dozen of chicken and another half of lamb.

Ba-Kut-Teh ordered by my cousin sister. The sup was obviously made from the instant Ba-Kut-Teh packets that you can get in any supermarkets. Still, it taste pretty good as they used some good quality pork and also the Yao-Zha-Kuai that push the taste to another level!

This is my Cha-Kuai-Tiew, in an extremely oversize plate! They put some really big prawn inside, moderately spicy. Taste real good, especially when you are hungry.

---

Dinner's over, move to the cinema. This is my first time experience in the premier cinema, also known as GSC Signature. Movie tickets here are slightly more expensive (RM18) compared to normal cinema, not sure is there any student price though.

They have some really comfortable "space chair" and some sofa for the peoples to wait for the movie to get started, instead on some other cinema, where you stand around, giving an unhappy face, while looking at movie posters on the wall.

My Popcorn!

The screen, taken while the lights are still on.

As you see, there is only 3 rows of twin seats in the whole cinema hall. The seats have a good distance between the front and back chair. I have no need to adjust my long long legs when I'm seated. Good design!

Oh don't be frighten by the word "twin seat" I mentioned above. If the person sit beside you ain't your another half, you can just push down the hand rest in the middle, with that you can have all the privates you needed. Each seat also have a small table attached to the side (the black color board) that allows you to put your popcorn or bags.

We went in too early, having too much time to cam whore around, lol.

Well comparing the premier cinema (RM18) and the normal twin seats in the normal cinema (RM14), I'll really suggest the couples to spend the extra 4 bucks to try out the premier cinema instead. Your girlfriend going to love it for real, just remember to pick seats behind, so that you won't disturb others, lol.

The movie of the night is Twilight, but I bet my dear readers had tons of review and feedbacks about it already, so not going to write much here. A really romantic love story, also have a good laugher (the golden onion!) in the middle of here and there. I wasn't expecting too high but it turned out to be pretty good! 4.5 out of 5.0 I'll say.

Anyway, I don't think I'll really go the premier cinema that often, unless there's a student's price (which I don't think there are any), or maybe want to celebrate some special day with some special person? lol...

Dinner of the day

Suddenly felt like blogging about food, to make my dear readers feel hungry (joking larh). Also suddenly, my cousin sister brought me to Mid Valley the Gardens to have dinner at 鼎泰丰 (Din-Tai-Fung). Thus here is it, tonight's dinner!

The 小龙包 (Xiu-Long-Bao) that you can never miss, approximate RM2 per dumpling, scary price but really delicious!

My pork chop ramen, look at the pork that covered the entire ramen! The price is around RM16 but I'll say it is really worth the price. The pork are juicy but not oily at all, while the ramen are soft and tasty, yum~

P/S: I really need to get a better camera to get the best shot out of the foods...
